In this short video, I demonstrate four ways to help you build strength in the upper body. These four exercises are great ways to build strength and flexibility in the upper back, shoulders and chest and are a great way to warm up and prepare the body for challenging inversions including forearm stand, handstand and headstand as well as arm balances. Building strength in the upper body will also improve the integrity of your downward facing dogs and vinyasas, allowing you to cultivate a yoga practice that promotes longevity.
